On the 4th Wednesday of the month (12 P.M.), OPACC leads a membership meeting at Elements by The Odyssey. Members can attend these Lunch & Learns for free, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with new people and expand your network.

March 25, 2026 – Workplace Violence Awareness and Response

Join us as Deb McPhee of SALUS Training Systems will be leading a presentation on workplace violence awareness and response.

February 25, 2026 – Google Profile Optimization

On 02.25.26, we hosted our Monthly Membership Meeting at Elements by The Odyssey. Jorge Norrick from the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce delivered an insightful presentation on Google Profile Optimization, sharing valuable strategies for strengthening online presence. We were also honored to hear from OP Mayor Jim Dodge, who provided updates on upcoming projects and events in the Village of Orland Park. A special thank you to Papa Joe’s for generously sponsoring the lunch. It was a fantastic afternoon of connection, collaboration, and learning. We appreciate everyone who joined us and contributed to the event’s success!

January 28, 2026 – State Legislation Updates

On 01.28.26, our Monthly Membership Meeting was held at Elements by The Odyssey. State Senator Bill Cunningham and State Representative Mary Gill presented updates on state legislation and its impact on local businesses. Orland Park Mayor Jim Dodge also spoke and gave updates on upcoming village projects, including the new Amazon facility. Paychex generously sponsored the lunch from OPACC member, Jersey Mike’s.

November 26, 2025 – Orland Park Public Library

On 11.26.25, our Monthly Membership Meeting was held at Orland Park Public Library, where guest speaker Steve Beaman presented on “How To Understand and Manage The Transition Into The Digital Economy.” Jet’s Pizza generously provided a delicious lunch for those in attendance. This was a great kick off into the Thanksgiving holiday!

October 22, 2025 – Village of Orland Park | Civic Center

On 10.22.25, we had the pleasure of hosting our Monthly Membership Meeting at the Civic Center in collaboration with the Village of Orland Park. We were honored to welcome Mayor Jim Dodge as our guest speaker, who shared valuable updates and insights about the Orland Park community. We’re grateful for our strong partnership with the Village and look forward to continuing our work together!

September 24, 2025 – Barraco’s (Wolf Rd.)

On 09.24.25, our Monthly Membership Meeting was held at Barraco’s (Wolf Rd.) in Orland Park. Guest speaker Hanna Miller of Salt Smart presented on “best practices” in winter maintenance and responsible salt use to protect our environment. Hanna provided valuable information for our members that will surely come in handy as we approach fall/winter season. Barraco’s sponsored a delicious lunch buffet for the 40+ members in attendance. We’d like to thank everyone for spending their afternoon with us!

Our next MMM will take place on October 22nd at the Civic Center with special guest Mayor Jim Dodge. We’ll see you next month at noon!

August 27, 2025 – RoccoVino’s Italian Restaurant

We held our Monthly Membership Meeting this past Wednesday at RoccoVino’s Italian Restaurant in Orland Park. Guest speaker Jeffrey W. Otway of Edward Jones gave an insightful presentation on ways to avoid financial fraud, while RoccoVino’s generously sponsored the delicious lunch. We had a fantastic turnout with 40+ members in attendance! Looking ahead, our Monthly Membership Meetings will continue as a Lunch and Learn, held at noon every month. July 23, 2025 – P.F. Chang’s

On 07.23.25, our Monthly Membership Meeting was held at P.F. Chang’s in Orland Park. Attendees jumped into a fast-paced, musical-chairs-style speed networking activity, allowing for a fun and interactive way to make new connections. After the activity, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring P.F. Chang’s popular lettuce wraps. We’re grateful for our amazing members and deeply appreciate P.F. Chang’s warm hospitality in making the event a great success.

June 25, 2025 – ReadyNation at The Residences of Orland Park Crossing

On 06.25.25, our Monthly Membership Meeting was held at the Residences of Orland Park Crossing. Guest speaker Sean Noble of ReadyNation discussed how critical child care and early learning are in strengthening our economy, particularly supporting working families today and cultivating a skilled workforce for the future. May 28, 2025 – Lotus Healing & Wellness Center at Porsche Orland Park

On 05.28.25, we gathered at Porsche Orland Park for our Monthly Membership Meeting, where we had the pleasure of hosting Emily Flores from Lotus Healing & Wellness Center. Her insightful presentation, Mental Health is Everyone’s Business, explored the profound impact of mental well-being on daily life, recognizing signs of stress and burnout, practical strategies for wellness, and ways to support both yourself and those around you.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Porsche Orland Park for their outstanding hospitality and to Lotus Healing & Wellness Center for sharing such valuable knowledge with our members.

April 23, 2025 – Rose Pest Solutions at Homewood Suites

March 26, 2025 – MDRN Tech at BankFinancial

On 03.26.25, we held our Monthly Membership Meeting at BankFinancial in Orland Park. It was a great success, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity, providing food and refreshments for everyone in attendance. During the meeting, Chamber member MDRN Tech delivered an insightful and engaging presentation on cybersecurity. Members shared their real-life experiences with cyberattacks. MDRN Tech offered invaluable advice on staying vigilant and securing sensitive information. MDRN Tech specializes in tailored cybersecurity solutions, IT services, cyber insurance optimization, and workplace technology enhancements to improve efficiency and security.

February 26, 2025 – Habitat for Humanity at Famous Dave’s

On 02.26.25, we hosted our Monthly Membership Meeting at Famous Dave’s in Orland Park. A heartfelt thank you to Famous Dave’s for providing the delicious lunch enjoyed by our attendees! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Christy Kingsley, from DuPage and Chicago South Suburbs Habitat for Humanity, led an insightful presentation highlighting their ReStore locations. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers, offering new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials, and more to the public at a fraction of retail prices. Don’t forget to visit their ReStore locations in Addison, Oak Forest, and Naperville!

With a focus on nonprofits, the meeting provided an opportunity for other nonprofit organizations in attendance to introduced themselves to the group. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with networking and meaningful connections!

January 22, 2025 – OPACC at Orland Park Public Library

The OPACC staff presented the Chamber’s goals for the year, introduced exciting new events, and unveiled the new member management system, GrowthZone. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved the snowy winter morning to join us. It was an informative session to start the year on a high note. The meeting was held at Orland Park Public Library.

November 27, 2024 – JAYNE Boutique

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our November Monthly Membership Meeting at JAYNE Boutique. Located at Orland Park Crossing, JAYNE offers beautiful apparel for women of all ages. Founder and CEO Craig Cohen shared the history of JAYNE and their community contributions through fashion. The OPACC staff also led a fun, interactive Thanksgiving-themed activity for attendees.

October 23, 2024 – Ballet 5:8

Ballet 5:8 owner, Jeremy Slager, gave an insightful presentation about their beginnings and how important art and culture is to a community. Attendees were able to enjoy snippets of the dance company’s upcoming performance, Beyond the Nutcracker, which will be performed at Athenaeum Center in Chicago to ring in the holiday season. We’d like to thank Peppo’s Subs, as they provided us with a delicious lunch. Supporting, promoting and partnering is what the Chamber is all about!

September 25, 2024 – Dave & Buster’s Orland Park

Dave & Buster’s General Manager, Jeff Meade, and Event Sales Manager, Taylor Doty, gave a presentation about the services D&B’s offers. Aside from kids’ birthday parties, they also offer private rooms to host special gatherings and business events. They even provide team building packages for business professionals! There was an impressive spread of delicious food options highlighting some seasonal favorites for the holidays and swag bags for all attendees (with game cards).
